ipda Constituion
The ipda constitution,was initially received and approved at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held on the 4th November, 2001 where it was agreed that the Constitution should come into force from 1st January 2002.
The changes, documented in the ‘History’ at the end of the constitution reflect the continuing growth and development of the association. Further changes will be proposed at the ipda Annual General Meeting in December 2008 given the recent establishment of ipda England, joining ipda Cymru, ipda Scotland and ipda Ireland.
The 2009 revisions to the constitution were approved by ipda members in February 2010. The revisions clarify the nature of National ipda’s and Chapters and their relationship to ipda and the use of e-mail balloting to allow members to vote upon proposed constitutional changes.
