IPDA Membership
As a full member of IPDA you will receive copies of the Association Newsletter and three issues of the Journal of In-Service Education during each year of membership. You will also have access to the IPDA website and to the services provided specifically for members.
Full membership for the current year is £45.00.
Retired or student membership for the year is £30. This entitles the member to all publications of the Association.
Many members join through attendance at the annual conference where the opportunity is always given to include the annual membership fee as part of the overall conference fee.
There is also the opportunity to subscribe by standing order.
Please download and complete the MembershipForm and email or post to the Membership Secretary Tony Bates. If paying by StandingOrder please complete the form and return it to your bank.

Discounted IPDA Membership Rates
To celebrate our anniversary (40 years young!) and the continued expansion of the association, the committee have agreed to offer, for an initial period of three years, a range of discounted membership rates.
The future of IPDA is very much bound up with its members and we hope that colleagues will take advantage of this offer and help to recruit within their own organisations/institutions/workplaces.
The rates are as follows:
- For 3 or more persons from the same workplace - 20% discount. Annual rate per person = £36
- For 5 or more persons from the same workplace - 30% discount. Annual rate per person = £30
- For 7 or more persons from the same workplace - 40% discount. Annual rate per person = £27
- For 9 persons or more from the same workplace - 50% discount. Annual rate per person = £22.50
Members recruited under this ‘group membership’ scheme will have identical rights to all other members and will receive personal copies of the Journal of In-service Education.
A condition of the scheme would be that the applications are collated within the respective organisation/workplace and sent to the IPDA Membership Secretary either with a single cheque/bacs payment or with a request for a single invoice to be raised.
